The Woodlands CAMP is a quaint, thirty-acre community located adjacent to the beautiful Apalachicola National Forest, across from Lake Talquin, and within walking distance to the Ocklockonee River. The environment at the Woodlands is as diverse as the men who enter the camp in search of a new life. A variety of majestic hardwood trees enhance the natural beauty of the setting. The residents live in air-conditioned cabins surrounded by the lush beautiful forest.
The Woodlands’ setting is conducive to Physical Rehabilitation and Spiritual Regeneration because it provides a peaceful setting in which men can find relief from living in a corrupt inner city. Our cabins and lodge are nestled within the center of this serene setting; affording the men who come to the program the chance to step out of the mainstream of life to focus on themselves, their relationship to God, and their fellow man.
